I purchased a car with my own money, so I didn’t want my mom plus dad to tell me what I could do with the vehicle, however i got absolutely distraught plus miserable when my dad told me not to take the car to a concert 3 minutes away… My dad was convinced that he heard a bizarre sound in the engine plus he didn’t want me to take the car further than work. I thought my dad was being unreasonable, so I decided to take the car to the concert anyway. Halfway to the locale, my car broke down plus I was stranded on the side of the road. It was about a hundred degrees outside plus I didn’t have any power in the car; That means I didn’t have any AC. I sat on the side of the road without any A/C for 3 minutes. I called my dad various times plus he denied my request for help. He told me that I was old enough to make my own decisions about the car so I needed to be old enough to service my own problems with the car. The guy was a local mechanic plus offered to tow me to the shop for a small fee, of course I didn’t have any money, so I had to come up with a odd way to spend money for the services. My dad left me out there to fend for myself plus I had to come up with some pretty creative solutions to get the car fixed.
