I will admit that I definitely don’t know all that much about men or human nature. So it’s a good thing my sister does and is willing to advise me, she saved me a big hassle when she came over the other day. I was researching Heating and Air Conditioning technology. I had started dating a Heating and Air Conditioning worker and I wanted to learn more about his work. The two of us had been at a party the other night and he had met a fellow Heating and Air Conditioning technician. They started talking shop and I was left out of the conversation. Some people might think that was rude of my date, and maybe it was, even though I still felt like an idiot standing there without understanding a word they were saying. So, I decided to do a little research. At first, I didn’t even think about what an oil furnace was! We are from a tropical area and our air conditioner and heat usually come from the same source, a HVAC unit on the side of the house. So, I expected to have to do a lot of research on Heating and Air Conditioning technology when my sister stopped by. She thought I was being just plain ridiculous. She advised me to ask my date questions, instead of doing the research. She reminded me that it makes men feel good to talk about and teach about something they know about and I should just take my Heating and Air Conditioning technology questions to my date. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that. I guess it’s because I definitely don’t know that much about men or human nature.
