Neatly installing a mini split air conditioner in a bedroom

There was a mini split air conditioner in the apartment I moved into, but I didn’t like the way it looked mounted on my wall.

It was an eyesore despite being a good air conditioner and adequate for my space.

I asked the cooling technician if there was anything he could do when he came for air conditioning maintenance, but he said that was the best option unless I wanted to deal with ongoing air conditioning repair. After giving up on trying to change it for a while, I couldn’t get rid of the desire for it to match the rest of the house. When I posted a picture of it online, the majority of the comments were from HVAC equipment specialists who advised me not to do anything about it. However, I did receive one from an expert in interior design who offered to help me hide it. She guided me through the fundamentals of concealing the cooling system without impairing its ability to improve indoor comfort. Someone I assumed didn’t know anything about the cooling business taught me more about air conditioning. Anything is possible, according to her motto, so I couldn’t let any cooling representative discourage me from pursuing aesthetics because they were more worried about protecting me from damaging it if anything went wrong with my decorating. I was relieved that she knew what she was doing and wouldn’t cause any harm to my air conditioner. We drew up a plan, which I then submitted to the cooling expert at the cooling corporation for approval before hiring someone to put the shelves we’d designed in place. I’m happy with the result and glad I persisted despite being disheartened at first. It’s not necessary for your ductless HVAC to be an eyesore.
