Not what I imagined

Last summer when my father suggested that I could come work at his HVAC company and make some money for myself it seems like a good idea.

up until this point I hadn’t really considered actually working for my father’s HVAC company, mostly because it just wasn’t the type of thing that I had much interest in.

I loved it when my father broke it down for me and we talked about how much money I could possibly make if I did a good enough job and it didn’t take long for me to agree to work in a part-time position. For the first couple of days working down at the HVAC company I actually liked it. It seemed like every day I was meeting new people who seemed to be very kind, I was able to catch on to the basics seemingly quickly, and what I thought would be a stressful and complicated job was actually quite simple. For a while it seemed like working in HVAC was built into my genes Well, after a few more months went by I slowly but surely started to realize that this was indeed a stressful and strenuous job at times. For example,When I was sent out to assist a certified HVAC technician on a repair call we were sent to a house that was extremely old and creepy from both the outside and the inside. Despite this we had a job to do and I ended up having to spend half my day in that creepy place. I don’t want to sound dramatic, but I would rather work for 20 hours a day then have to do that. Maybe in a year or two I will give the hVAC trade another chance, but after that experience I am good for now.
