I am far from an uber tech woman.
It may have something to do with our age.
But I’m guessing not. My 69 year old father in law has every modern tech gimmick ever. As soon as something comes on the market, she is whipping out the plastic to get it. I’m a bit slower to sizzling to modern tech. My cell PC had actual buttons on it for something love 10 or 15 years. The smart PC was certainly a wonderful purchase but, I waited until I really needed it. That is why I suppose pretty good about our latest purchase. Again, it took me a while to sizzling to the system of having our Heating as well as A/C managed by anyone else however me. I read the articles online about how wonderful the smart temperature controls were. My neighbors raved about them. My father in law fell in like with the smart temperature control harder than she did our mother in law by all accounts. However, it was the utility savings that really intrigued me. So, I took the plunge & had a smart temperature control installed last week. The Heating as well as A/C tech who put it in advised I let the temperature control learn our patterns instead of programming it. I did what the Heating as well as A/C girl said & I was amazed with the results. After only 1 week, the smart temperature control saved me nearly 12 percent on our Heating as well as A/C energy use. While that is on the high end of the savings, I was still completely amazed. And I did nothing however add the smart temperature control. The results have really encouraged me to get even more proactive toward Heating as well as A/C energy savings.
