Okay, so there was a lot to learn when the people I was with and I moved to the south.
And I mean a lot to learn.
Almost everything was modern to my wifey & I. Every one of us were both born & raised in a immense town up north. And until the people I was with and I moved to the south for her modern job, that’s all the people I was with and I knew. Both of us grew up in the heating & cooling comfort of home living. Funnily enough, our respective apartments really had good HVAC equipment. And that’s not really the case with most folks in our socioeconomic range. Our first home together just out of college wasn’t so good when it came to air conditioning. But the radiant heating from the boiler in the basement really did a good job of heating us in the winter. But when the people I was with and I moved to the south, the emphasis absolutely wasn’t on the heating area of HVAC. Every one of us were in the land of air conditioning. But the people I was with and I l acquired really quick that you have to do your area when it comes air conditioning our house. Again, just having a house was a immense change for us. Having windows with a view & no neighbors meant that the people I was with and I didn’t care to cover up. When the people I was with and I bought this house, the people I was with and I upgraded the outdated HVAC component with the latest in residential HVAC. So the people I was with and I knew that there would be no problem with the air conditioning. There wasn’t as our house was always cool. But when I got the first utility bill of late Spring, I had to make a change as it was extraordinarily high. This was due to the direct sun heating since the people I was with and I didn’t have drapes or shades. Every one of us got some in short order I can assure you.
