The air conditioner will be here in three afternoons.

Last week, I was to have a new air conditioner component delivered! From the time the air conditioner component was placed on the delivery truck to travel fifteen miles to my home, it had gotten free plus fell off the truck.

I wasn’t blissful that it took almost six hours to get to the house, but there was a major accident that held up traffic for hours.

When the heating and air conditioning professional didn’t even know she had lost the air conditioner unit, I almost laughed; I was so miserable. She told me they were going to need to order another air conditioner unit, plus it would take another week before it got delivered. Yesterday, I got a phone call telling me the air conditioner will be here in three afternoons. I’m wondering if the same heating and air conditioning professional will be doing the delivery plus set-up. I’m not blaming the heating and air conditioning professional for losing the air conditioner unit, even though she was the driver plus responsible for it. Now, I am to acquire another A/C component in three afternoons. I’m just wondering if they will send the same heating and air conditioning professional or another one. I understand she didn’t deliberately lose the air conditioner, but wasn’t she responsible to make sure it was secured? Shouldn’t she have been looking in the back of the truck, sporadically, to make sure the air conditioner hadn’t moved or become loose? I’m sure anyone would have some doubts plus problems about the professional delivering the air conditioner if this had happened to them. It’s bad enough having these doubts now, plus I have no idea how uneasy I’ll be on the afternoon it is to be delivered.
