I’ve run into some characters in this town, I’ll tell you what. The latest one was some guy on the beach that I met when I took my cold swim. He started out okay but then got kind of weird after a month or so. He was just too desperate for my friendship and was inviting me to his house and asking to come to mine. I don’t like that kind of pressure from someone so I’ve decided to stop going to that spot. There is something strange about desperation and it makes you wonder what’s causing it. I just got a new smart thermostat to help me with regulating the temperature in my flat. The old one was very inaccurate and I found myself adjusting it manually all of the time. The owner of my flat agreed to pay for a new thermostat as long as I would install it for free. It took me about 20 minutes to do it and the thing works great. It’s a programmable thermostat so I rarely need to do anything with it anymore. This saves me a lot of time and fuss and was well worth the cost. The owner also paid for new HEPA filters in my central heat and air unit. I think it has like three or four filters and each one is not very cheap but the owner is cool about it so now my air is very clean in the flat. I checked it the other day with a ppm meter and it has dropped to half of what it was.
