However I l earned when I went to the school that I was very very wrong
As a parent, I can tell you there is nothing that I hate more than parent-professor conferences. I expect my kids to do very well in school & normally they do just that, however recently I have noticed that my son’s grades had been slipping & she had been complaining a lot about school. My child had consistently done very well on all of her school labor & so when her grade started slipping & she started complaining I figured something was wrong. She had consistently been such an outgoing child & had lots of friends however now it’s like she did not want to hang out with anybody. It just wasn’t like him & I was sad about him. This is the reason why I hate the conferences, not because I don’t guess that her professors don’t have her best interest in mind or that they aren’t trying to help him however mostly just because I’m upset about him, for me it means that something’s wrong, something is off, however when I was asked to meet with a single of her professors I did so to see what was going on. My child had mentioned the temperature of the school a couple times however admittedly I hadn’t taken it too seriously, I just thought it was a little hotter than correct because every one of us were in the summer time months. However I l earned when I went to the school that I was very very wrong. The entire Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan was easily broken & the kids & staff were all warm & hot. I then l earned that my child & numerous of the other kids couldn’t focus on their school because of how warm & uncomfortable they were! Even worse was apparently the school had no plans on it rushing to fix the heating & AC system, and now I can see why they were complaining.
