Trust is one of the most important things that you can look for when you are asking someone to come into your home. I don’t ever let someone in my house without doing a background check or having a friend recommended them to me. I know this might seem a little bit extreme, but I have had a really bad experience with a HVAC company one time. I was having a ton of issues with my HVAC system in my old place and I knew that it was time for me to have the entire HVAC system replaced. I was pretty upset because I knew that having the whole HVAC system replaced would be very expensive and it would take a lot of time. I called a local HVAC company that had pretty good reviews online but I didn’t know anyone that personally used them. So, after about two weeks of these HVAC techs coming in and out of my house, I noticed that some things were missing from my house. Not big things, but a few things here and there. Then when some money went missing from my wallet, I knew that the HVAC company was to blame. I asked the HVAC tech in my house where the money went and he got defensive right away. I asked the HVAC techs to leave right away and called the HVAC company to report the workers. Thankfully, the HVAC company finished the job with new workers and didn’t charge me for anything. However, I still have trust issues after this!
