Trying to treat an injury

I could genuinely go for an ice bath this week to help heal my knee injury.

I don’t have the luxury of the frigid ocean anymore, seeing that I am in the south in the summertime & the water temp is hot now.

In an effort to alternate between heating and cooling my injury, I would prefer an ice bath, along with some kind of small space heating system to heat up my knee after cooling it down. I will have to settle for some frozen fish in plastic as my ice pack, followed by a sizzling wet towel on my knee to supply warmth. I turned up the thermostat on my water heating system so I can make sure the towel is warm enough after I ice my knee. I need to put it in a double plastic bag so it doesn’t burn my skin, which is something I learned the hard way. I was going to ask my heating serviceman friend, who is also a physical therapist on the side, to come over & bring her frigid laser to help with my recovery. Later on, I plan to run to the store to purchase some biofreeze gel and some over the counter pain medication. I’ve had a lot of injuries to my body over the years & have acquired tricks for healing them. With all my experience, I feel like I could make a career change and become some kind of athletic trainer. However, I am in the complete opposite line of work. I own a Heating and Cooling company that was passed down to me by my dad, who spent his life working in the HVAC world.
