I got a dwelling from work last week, plus I knew something looked different in the backyard.
It was nearly dark, plus I could make out the side of the house, but it was too dark to say what was different.
I walked inside plus grabbed the flashlight from the junk drawer plus went back outside. My partner must have seen the light flashing in through the windows plus thought there was a prowler. Before I knew what was happening, she was inside yelling plus saying she had called the police. I screamed back that it was me. She quickly turned on the porch light plus asked why I was outside prowling around plus shining the flashlight in the windows. I told her something looked off, plus I was right. The air conditioner component was gone. She asked what I meant the A/C component was gone? I told her I said what I meant. The air conditioner component was gone. I wanted to know if she had heard anyone outside, or noticed anything amiss when she got home from work. She hadn’t seen or heard anything, but she was taking a shower. Five minutes later, the police showed up and finally asked what was wrong. I told them my air conditioner component was missing, but it was my partner that called, plus then I explained how she thought I was a prowler because of the flashlight. Before I knew what was happening, the police were doing a report on the stolen air conditioner unit. I eventually told them I didn’t want to report anything until I talked to the heating and air conditioning dealer, plus I would not do that until the day.
