Cleaning our HVAC

It’s no big surprise that humans need scrub air to breathe, but did you think that your a/c also needs to have space to be able to get to scrub air easily? That might sound particularly easy, but a lot of people have outside air conditioner units that are surrounded by trees, bushes, or shrubs, having trees or dense foliage too close to your a/c unit is a big mistake, these shrubs plus trees can severely restrict the airflow that your air conditioner needs to be able to run plus operate efficiently! If you’re having higher air conditioner bills this Spring plus summer time than you are used to having, try trimming up some of the trees plus bushes that are too close to your outside a/c unit.

If you make sure that your trees are at least a foot or 2 away from your a/c unit, it will help tremendously with the usual air flow that your air conditioner unit needs, and while you’re at it, you might also want to check around the base of your a/c unit to make sure that there isn’t any loose leaves, sticks, or debris that might get sucked into your unit.

If you notice that the ground all around the outside of your air conditioner unit has lots of dirt or debris clogging it up, or if you see lots of dead leaves around your unit, then you might want to call in your local Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation to come out plus scrub your Heating plus Air Conditioning units for you, but your air conditioner method – plus your a/c bills – will really thank you for it!
