I suffer from a series of chronic health conditions, with one of our symptoms being that I experience spine-chilling waves of overwhelming nausea, occasionally I have good days where I may go without experiencing those sensations, while at other times it’s a near constant sensation plus I need to be hospitalized since I am unable to stomach food or water, and despite this, I try to live a normal life as best as I can, then i do what I can to minimize factors that can trigger our condition plus keep myself as comfortable as possible.
One evening, when out eating with friends, I abruptly began to assume truly ill plus excused myself to head to the restroom; As soon as I stepped into the restroom it was care about running into a wall of heat.
The rest of the restaurant had impeccable air quality, with an air purification system plus an air conditioner keeping the air fresh plus cool. The bathroom, but, seemed to not have any air conditioner at all. The longer I stayed in that stuffy restroom the sicker I felt. One thing I’ve found that aggravates our condition is heat, which is why I keep our current home air conditioned at all times… When I failed to return to our table our friends came to check on me, plus the commotion even brought the restaurant employees in to check on me. I explained our nausea wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, it was from our own awful health, but mentioned that the lack of A/C in the restroom wasn’t helping. They apologized, acknowledging the air conditioner to the restroom was in need of repair, plus gave our get together a discount on our meal for the trouble. This wasn’t necessary, but I’m cheerful they were looking out for their clients’ well-being regardless.
