All of us had a home fire about numerous years ago.
Everything was destroyed except the family room.
I told the firemen that even though the rest of the building wasn’t recoverable, I wanted them to save the fireplace. I easily didn’t think it was possible, however I was keeping our fingers crossed. I took pictures of the fireplace, plus I wanted it installed right where it was. My husband told me it was going to be nearly impossible to build a home around a fireplace, however I insisted. After the smoke settled, we made the decision to go back to the home plus I cried. The fireplace was destroyed. The bricks were falling down plus the chimney was no longer standing. My husband told me that when we rebuilt, he would make sure we had a fireplace in the living area. All of us had the pictures to supply to the dealer so he knew exactly what I wanted. Once the construction started, I was showing up at the home everyday. I knew I was being a pain to the people who were building the house, however I knew exactly what I wanted. I told them where I wanted the lights located. I showed them where I wanted the air vents plus what kind I wanted. It got to the point where whenever they had to purchase something for the house, they took me shopping with them. When it came time to install the fireplace, I was right there. I even got to pick out the stone that I wanted for the hearth plus the mantle. I could believe how lovely it turned out.
