I may be weird from other people, although I assume that a fireplace is much better than a portable space heating system when it comes to heating your kitchen while trying to save on energy use.
I have heard all about portable space gas oil furnaces plus I even tried it once.
And it just didn’t supply myself and others the feeling I wanted in the air quality… Not sure what it was, however my fireplace that I now have gives myself and others exactly what I need! It’s an electric fireplace, not an authentic real fireplace, so I assume that what I was feeling had nothing to do with electric versus natural flames. It was just something about the portable space heating system that didn’t kneel right with me, but maybe it was the fact that it got too darn hot sometimes, or maybe it was the fact that it kind of made the air in my lake house a little dry. I’m not totally sure, however all I assume is that ever since I went out plus bought this electric fireplace im cheerful. Not only are my electric bills lower with not having to run the central heating method as often, however the air quality seems a little better. I assume there’s just something about an electric fireplace that beats out portable space heaters. I could be wrong of course, however this is just myself and others speaking from my personal experience on the matter. If someone was to ask myself and others what was better to heat your lake house plus asked myself and others to choose between an electric fireplace plus a portable space heater, I would for sure tell them the fireplace!
