The local private school in our school district recently opened another kindergarten section.
The parents of the kindergarten-aged children were excited about this section as they could now go back to work while feeling like their children are safe and interacting with other children their age.
There were posters everywhere advertising the opening of the school. As the senior air conditioning expert at the school, I hoped that the quality heating and air cooling unit would not embarrass me and decide to malfunction today of all days. Weeks before the opening date, I had scheduled a session with the HVAC serviceman to do a quality heating and cooling service on the air conditioning system. The technician found that the heating and cooling equipment was covered in rust and had severe wear and tear. We got a new commercial air conditioning system from the local business. The HVAC installation took an entire day as I needed to ensure the job is done to be of high quality and not necessarily fast. Since this building would be occupied by teachers and students alike. However since the children have low immunity, we need to ensure that any unit in the building is offering help with indoor comfort. The electric heat pump came with a state-of-the-art digital thermostat which really impressed the headteacher. I was responsible for scheduling air conditioning repairs on the unit. The cooling and heating business did a lot to help us with the project of equipping the kindergarten with an efficient AC system. The kindergarten opening day went on without any drama or hitch and I was grateful my new unit did not let me down.
