It really makes a lot of things difficult for me
I was actually wondering if anyone else has the same issue I do. That issue is when I am around any type of portable space heater my allergies flare up! It really puts a damper on energy savings for me since I can not use portable space heaters because of this fact. Maybe it’s the type of air that comes out of the space heater that does it? Or maybe it’s what the portable space heaters are made of now days which sets off my allergies. Whatever the case, portable space heaters are just not for me. Portable air conditioning systems on the other hand are just fine. And I have a really nice portable air conditioning system in my home. The portable air conditioning system gets me through the super hot summer months of the year without having to go overboard on using the central air conditioning system. This saves me a lot of money when it comes time for the monthly electric bills, that is for sure. I just wish I could do the same thing in the cold winter months of the year with a portable space heater! I have the most messed up allergies anyone can imagine. It is almost like anything and everything sets them off. The smallest amount of bad air quality or the smallest amount of dust in the air. It really makes a lot of things difficult for me. And if you are wondering, yes, I have thought about getting a whole home air purification system into my home. But those things are just too gosh darn expensive! So I do what I can.
