My neighbor is a recently registered and licensed a/c professional.
I always see his truck packed upfront on Sundays but weekdays he is hardly around.
My bedroom window faces the driveway, so most times I see him arrive back late in the night since I stay up late binge watching. His hard work and dedication to his profession inspired me to become a technician like him. He will soon be officially recognized at the league of reliable and recognizable professionals as a new contractor this year and he asked me to accompany him to the event. I can’t wait to attend this prestigious gathering of professionals held annually. Every renown cooling and heating company like my neighbor’s, attend that gathering to showcase their products, services and talk about the industry as a whole. I have had the opportunity to shadow him while he fixes ductless HVAC, lay or clean ductwork at business premises, or even perform general a/c service. This has given an opportunity to earn valuable experience. Since i am still in college, I count myself lucky to have an opportunity to work part time under him by performing simple a/c tune up tasks under his supervision. Asn an upcoming professional myself, I hope to learn how to install new air conditioning, regulate and adjust temperature control settings for clients and master the main duties of a local contractor by the time I am done with college in two years. At the gathering, I expect to learn more about air conditioning, HVAC equipment and the latest development in HVAC brands, and the energy saving tips applicable to them.
