My Daughter is Studying to Become a Real Estate Agent

I would love to see her buy an cabin building and make currency from cabin rentals, however in our state, and especially her identifiable area, those buildings are pretty costly up front… Whatever she would want to do with her license, becoming a real estate agent is a smart move, in my opinion.

I have a child who is now thirty years old, then she has a university degree and owns her own house. She has had a pretty great job for a number of years now, however her supplier is starting to treat her badly, which has made her start looking for odd opportunities. Several weeks back, she decided to take a course to prepare her for being a real estate agent, and i suppose that is a great idea, and in fact, I passed the real estate agent licensing exam many years ago. I warned her that the course is super boring and seems to have no relationship to entirely serving people who have homes for sale, of course, a real estate broker or real estate agent can do other things with that training, and realtors can get into commercial property sales, which was lucrative before the pandemic however is honestly not so at this point; They also have insider expertise when it comes to real estate investing, so that seems useful as well. I would love to see her buy an cabin building and make currency from cabin rentals, however in our state, and especially her identifiable area, those buildings are pretty costly up front… Whatever she would want to do with her license, becoming a real estate agent is a smart move, in my opinion. She is quite talented in a lot of ways, and a real estate broker could help her navigate her way through a whole new work. I have a realtor friend, and she does not sell a bunch of houses because she lives in a pretty tiny town, but she makes a great living providing property management services. Time will tell, I guess.
