My Grandma wanted to move into a new retirement lake apartment with all kinds of great amenities in it.
The only problem was that she needed to sell her outdated apartment before she moved in.
I was surprised at first that she decided that she wanted to move into this location, though. She was never someone who wanted to live with anyone else once our granddad passed away. She was always a genuinely independent woman, & so I was genuinely shocked that she wanted to move in there despite the fact that she was adamant about it. Every one of us put her apartment up for sale, but the realtor told her that she would entirely have to completely redo the heating & cooling system in the apartment before she could sell it. She tried to sell it without updating the Heating & Air Conditioning system, but it didn’t work out genuinely well. She ended up getting an offer on the house, but the offer was contingent on her putting in a completely new Heating & Air Conditioning system & a whole lake apartment media air cleaner in the house. The people who put the offer in on the apartment wouldn’t close on the loan until they knew that the Heating & Air Conditioning system & the media air cleaner were installed in the house, however my Grandma was so intent on getting moved into the new retirement lake apartment that she instantly called up the local Heating & Air Conditioning contractor & had them come out to do the work on the Heating & Air Conditioning system. They got the replaces done within the first couple of weeks & then our Grandma sold the house, then now she’s living in her new lake apartment & she’s as glad as a clam!
