New technology leads to awesome cooling products

Over the past thirty years, technology has changed the way we work, play, and live.

Technology is constantly moving forward.

Every year, they have a brand new car or truck, with new features like security cameras or back up lights, and now we have self driving vehicles. Is it really that much better, each and every year? For an industry like heating and cooling, thirty years is a lifetime of change. Technology that was new and revolutionary back then, is obsolete now. I remember when my parents brought home a space heater for the garage. It was a kerosene heater, and the thing looked like a spaceship. I thought it was the strangest looking thing on the planet, and now no one uses a kerosene heater at all. It wasn’t safe then, and many homes were destroyed by careless and improper use. Just five years ago, my mom and dad bought their first digital thermostat. Now that device is considered ancient, because it doesn’t have programmable or wireless features. Last month, my wife and I were visiting some friends. They live in a loft apartment in the city. The entire apartment was set up with smart features that included wireless access to the heating and cooling products and a voice controlled thermostat. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that so much has changed in such a short time, and then I think about how much computers have changed. Thirty years ago, they were large enough to take up an entire room, but today’s computers are small enough to fit in the palm of our hand.
