I have actually overstayed our welcome in the north.
Every year in the fall I take a trip to see our parents in the north.
I work totally from our kindle plus can go as long as I want… This year I decided to make it a longer trip. I correctly stay the whole week of September plus leave October first. I added an extra week plus will leave in September. That extra week is killing me temperature wise. Early fall in the north is beautiful. You don’t need to worry about heating or cooling, then a blazer is optional plus the daytime can be quite pleasant! Mid fall is a totally strange creature. The weather has severely turned plus is not going back. The afternoons went from being in the 69s to being in the 50s. Every day is frosty frosty plus every evening it drops down as well. My parents are hardcore northerns plus don’t even run their heating equipment. Inside their house is 62 degrees. That is shockingly frosty for being indoors… Outside the house is in the 50s, wet plus grey! Not having any heating all day long is just horrible. I wake up frosty frosty plus go to bed frosty everyday. I have begged our parents to turn on the oil furnace plus they won’t until snow. It can get entirely frosty before the snow arrives. I also don’t like that I can’t even go outside anymore… Who wants to work out in 50 degree weather? Who wants to eat outdoors in eating establishment when it rains all day? I can’t wait to go back to the south.
