The building owner recently sold this property to the government.
This handover of ownership has been nothing but a headache to all the tenants. We have raised numerous issues concerning poor services and lack of proper management to address the issues. I am thinking of moving out as the complaints keep increasing with each day. We are in dire need of an efficient commercial air conditioning system, even if it’s a simple electric heat pump. I could see vents running through the corridors but if there was a unit, it was long dead. Some of the heating and cooling equipment such as the digital thermostat had long since malfunctioned. Only an air conditioning expert would determine whether the apartments needed a new air conditioning system or a quality heating or cooling service. The situation was worsening as I heard about my neighbor’s kid who had been rushed into the hospital because of respiratory issues. They needed to handle the air conditioning repair before something serious happened. These issues were attributed to the poor quality heating and air units. The incident left all of us shocked and seriously considering moving. After about 30% of the residences moved out, it scared the management and we started to see some change. We started seeing a stream of HVAC serviceman from the local business come in and out of the apartment building. They’d to pull out the old unit and HVAC installation for the new unit began. Everything was about to change in this apartment building. We still could not believe that the management was actually willing to help with indoor comfort by using equipment for the cooling and heating business. We were all looking forward to a new beginning.
