I did this recently. Everything is great down there except for the air conditioning. I need not worry about it right now because it is winter and it is nice and warm down there because we have a portable space heater that heats it all up. However, since we could not get central heating and air conditioning down there without spending a small fortune, what the best solution for air conditioning will be is to buy a portable air conditioning system before the summer comes. It should work just as well as the portable space heater does in cooling the place when the summer heat is real bad. This is what I feel is the best air conditioning solution to the no central HVAC down there. I figure I should probably go looking for a nice and high quality portable air conditioning system now in the winter while people do not need them. This is actually the best time to find sales on all kinds of cooling products. The same way all kinds of heating products are on sale in the summer time months of the year. Portable air conditioning systems usually go on sale about this time of the year so I will be looking very soon. And if I see a good deal on a top of the line and very high quality portable air conditioning system I will buy it right away so I have it for a good price and ready for the hot summer months.
