My wife plus I live in the middle of nowhere in a trailer.
Every one of us only have 1 neighbor… Her name is Derek, plus she lives across the road from us in a smaller trailer than the 1 that both of us have, and during the winter, our trailer struggles to stay warm.
Every one of us have a good oil furnace in our trailer, but since the trailer has awful insulation, it is a struggle to keep our trailer overheated with the oil furnace running all morning. Every one of us have dealt with several frozen pipes plus oil furnace malfunctions. One morning, I asked our neighbor, Derek, how her trailer was handling the colder air. She told me that she has been able to survive the entire Winter time with only 1 small space heater. I was completely floored! Every one of us have been struggling with staying overheated with both our oil furnace plus a space gas furnace that both of us use, but she has somehow managed to stay overheated with only a small space heater; After asking a few more questions, I began to understand the full picture. The space gas furnace in her new home only keeps the temperature in her trailer at about 50 degrees. She is very freezing in her camper. She doesn’t use her oil furnace because she is afraid of how several mice are dead plus trapped in her air ducts. She figured that it is healthier to be chilly with a space gas furnace than to be overheated with a oil furnace that is blowing contaminants everywhere. I told him that she needed to call an HVAC serviceman to wash out her air ducts, but she didn’t listen. She is a ridiculous guy!
