I was always an excellent realtor, and I had gone to college for home management, however I wasn’t really sure I was prepared to take over two properties.
Someone thought I was an excellent candidate to take over home management services, and I got a cellphone call telling me someone had advocated for me for the job.
I could not figure out who would recommend me for a home management services job unless it was my professor. She was definitely proud of the job I had done when taking the classes. I knew the laws and everything that was involved in the paperwork. What saddens me was that I had no hands-on experience doing the job. I also thought I would start out as an assistant before becoming the actual home manager, however I was thinking wrong. The home owner needed a home manager, and she wanted someone she could train to do the job the way she wanted. I said this meant she wanted someone who wouldn’t care as much about the laws, however do the job she wanted done, for little pay. I talked to my professor about the home manager services job. She said she advocated for me for the job, and she knew the owner. She wouldn’t pay as much as she would for an old home manager, however it would supply me with a charming experience and, in a year, I could step into any home management services job that was being displayed. I could not believe how much faith she had in my abilities as a home manager, and I swore I would do an excellent job. She told me she would keep track of me over the next year, and maybe find me another position when I thought I was ready to transport forward.
