I totally need cooler air in my bedroom at night.
I actually have to share a place with two other roommates as well as I have no control over the temperature of my room… My complete lack of control has nothing to do with my actual roommates, they’re entirely kind people. The true concern is that I’m at the mercy of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C machine we’ve been given as well as the management team of the apartment. Honestly, I’ve never seen a Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional repair the Heating, Ventilation & A/C machines in the past, which is really why our energy costs are so outrageous. I need cooler air to get rest at night, so I’ve been debating between a window A/C machine as well as a ductless mini split system. The ductless mini split system would be a more sizable investment as well as it would be more tough to take with me. I’d have to hire someone to connect the ductless system as well as ventilate it. It’s easier to use than a window A/C machine as well as makes less noise, which is something that sounds good to me. The window A/C machine would be a major distraction as well as it’s less aesthetically pleasing, but I would be able to install it. Once connected to the outlet as well as secured to the window, I could begin using it instantly. I’m not really sure how long I will be living in this apartment, so the ductless mini split system might not be the best move. However, I don’t want to be up all night due to a loud window A/C machine either. I’m going to think about these air conditioning options for a little longer.
