I actually have gotten so good at cleaning up my ductwork that I do the ductwork cleaning every other month
Some of my buddies think that I am nuts, but I actually enjoy cleaning up around my household. I love vacuuming, dusting, picking things up, and organizing. Whatever I can do to make my house cleaner and more comfortable, that’s what I love doing. It wasn’t too long ago when I actually learned how to clean my own ductwork system. I realized that I was having a big problem when I would dust the house and the dust would settle right back on the furniture and all around the home. It was really bothering me and I thought it would be too expensive to call the professionals to come take care of the ductwork cleaning. I figured it seemed easy enough to clean and vacuum all of the HVAC vents and the ductwork system, so I studied videos about it. All I actually needed was my shop VAC vacuum and I could do a good amount of the work on my own. I figured that being able to clean most of the ductwork on my own was certainly better than paying a small fortune to the HVAC professionals. I actually have gotten so good at cleaning up my ductwork that I do the ductwork cleaning every other month. This definitely seems like overkill to some people, but I love for my home to be exceptionally clean. I don’t like seeing a spec of dirt flying around my air. I have noticed a huge improvement in the air quality as well ever since I started cleaning my ductwork, so I know that I must be doing something right!
