The air vents almost caused a fire

I was a bit careless lately when I observed the air vents of my central heating plus air conditioner had been leaking from condensation, however of course, this is sporadically normal depending on the build of your house, then it did not indicate that there was any kind of issue with my central heating plus air conditioner; However where I was stupid was the fact that there is an air vent right above where the lamp is in my study room… As the air vents were dripping condensation from the use of the central a/c, it was making the light bulb in the lamp get wet! And it was not some waterproof light bulb! To make a long story short, eventually the light bulb sparked plus began to cause a small electrical fire! I was darn lucky that I was in the study room at the time it happened. I was able to get the fire out almost instantaneously, plus then both of us turned off the breaker to the power in the study room so I could unplug plus unfasten the lamp from that space. I was lucky that I didn’t set the cabin on fire plus also lucky that I caught it in time to not fry the entire lamp! So all it needed was a fantastic washing plus a light bulb updatement. I may not be so lucky next time… So I moved the lamp away from the air vents of the central heating plus air conditioner so that when it drips, it will not ever drip on the lamp or light bulb directly again!
