Using an old shipping bucket to help out pets

I inherited some land from our Mom, & it wasn’t a lot however it was worth moving for. The beach house on the land was pretty small, & very old, & was more in need of mangle than renovation. Still I moved out there, mostly for one important reason — our pets! I am a sucker for strays, both cats & pets, & over the years have amassed quite the menagerie, living in the city, cooped up in our small apartment, was not great for them, & I know it wasn’t great for me either. Living in the country is great for them, however they needed a sturdy shelter so I called our old neighbor from our custom welding days, then for a few years I worked as a welder for a custom metal fabrication corporation, mostly making ductwork & such. I remember our neighbor leaving that job to get into laboring with prefab housing & shipping containers, so I provided him a call, and he was so ecstatic to hear from me he said if I paid the shipping on it, he would provide me a free cargo container. Since I still have all our old custom welding equipment, I could modify it although I wanted & turn it into an pet shelter. It took a while, because our custom welding skills were a bit rusty (forgive the pun) however now our pets have a dry, warm, safe place to sleep, now that it’s all done, I know I’ll order another cargo bucket for myself & turn it into our brand current home.
