My friend and I visited many RV dealerships hoping to find a suitable heating and air conditioning system, however my associate and I found nothing. It took us almost a month before my associate and I located an actual heating and air conditioning system that would work for our camper. My friend and I traveled over a hundred miles to a contractor that was in another state. He showed us what he had and offered to install the heating and air conditioning system while my associate and I were there. When he removed the old heating and air conditioning system, he frowned. He wanted to know why my associate and I were installing a modern one. My friend and I told him the owner had told us the heating and air conditioning system was broken. He replaced the air filter and repaired a broken wire he found in the electrical system. It then cost us twenty-five dollars for the air filter and ten dollars for the wire. He said he wanted nothing for the labor. He told us the heating and air conditioning system was only a couple of years old, and whatever my associate and I paid for the camper, my associate and I got an excellent deal. When my fiance told him my associate and I paid less for the camper than what my associate and I were fully prepared to spend money for the heating and air conditioning system, the man laughed. He said he wished he could get a deal like that someday.
